I’m going to craigslist this person hard, “Any interest in trading for a much newer, running Porsche 944? I can also throw in $1400... cash... and an X box 360... and the rest of the pan of the brownies I just made - I only ate one so far!”

Get it running properly and it would be worth around $27k according to Hagerty.

WTF is that frankenmonster?? How is that a 1966 912??
THIS is a 1966 912...
This thing, if it really is 912 underneath, is not something I would touch with a stick :)

Yeah, and if you look at the as others have pointed out, you’d have to deal with the fact that the body is from a 930, but I would think that would be valuable in its own right. That’s assuming the 930 body isn’t there to hide damage on the frame. But yeah, the potential for making money should be high.
Mechanically speaking, it’s got a VW engine, so that should be the easy part.
Buy this, flip it, buy a 996 and put one of those ceramic IMS bearings in.

I had no clue what a 912 was until I googled it. Yeah it is basically a beefy Volkswagen engine. There is a ton of potential there.

He messaged back: “It’s a 912 modified body to look like a 930"
